Lusk Community Games
Lusk Community Games will be held at 2pm on Sunday 9th May behind Lusk National School. The competition is open to children Under 8 - 16 from the parish. Their age on 31st July is the cut off for each event. All must be accompanied by a guardian. There will be medals for winners of 1 track & 1 field event. Qualifiers will represent Lusk in Santry on 3rd/4th July. A charge of €4 per child is needed to cover registration.

Lusk Active Retirement Association.
The monthly meeting will be held in the Scout Den on Wed 5th May at 10:30 a.m. Any person over 55 years is welcome to attend.  Activities: Cards every Wed 9 p.m., Pitch & Putt every Tuesday 10:30 a.m., Indoor Bowls every Wed 1:30 p.m. Email: luskactive@gmail.com

Lá Go Bhrí Community Childcare
Lá go Bhrí are a community childcare service based in the Mourne View Estate, Skerries, Co. Dublin.  The management committee are seeking new members to become involved in the running of the service. This is a very valuable project to the area providing affordable childcare to disadvantaged and/or isolated individuals to allow them to return to employment, education or training.  If you are interested in volunteering please contact Helen at 802 0484 or email hduffy@fingalleaderpartnerhip.ie for more information.  This is a great opportunity not only to meet new people but to get involved in worthwhile projects.  Informal enquiries are welcomed.

Singing Workshop for children
Focused around the Feast of Pentecost, a time of renewal and evangelisation, the Pro-Cathedral invites girls and boys aged 8 to 14 to take part in a singing workshop. Saturday 8th May 2010 Workshop 1.30 to 5.30pm Singing at 6.00 pm Mass at the Pro-Cathedral. Anyone for Tennis?
Calling all ADULTS to Orlynn Park Tennis Courts 
Coach will attend this venue on eight consecutive Fridays, starting May 7th, to implement a coaching programme for beginner and more advanced adult players. The tennis courts are a valuable asset to your community.  Use them or lose them to antisocial behaviour!  The programme schedule is as follows:
Fridays: 18.30 – 19.30 (Directly after children’s programme)
Coaching and playing lessons for adults. All are welcome to attend. Equipment will be supplied.  There is a small initial registration fee.
