Hidden Losses – Hidden Grief

This workshop will explore the dynamics of hidden grief, how it affects people, and what can help to ease the extra burden placed on people who are denied support for their grief either through the nature of the loss itself (which may involve stigma, e.g. adoption, abortion, suicide) or because others do not know about or understand the relationships which preceded a loss – (e.g., gay partnership, an extra-marital affair, pet loss).
