Lusk ICA
To mark the centenary year of the I.C.A the Lusk guild will present an exhibition of photographs from their archives spanning the years 1966 to the present day which will take place in St. MacCullins centre this weekend. The Lord Mayor of Fingal, Councillor Ken Farrell will host a civic reception on Friday the 12th November to officially open the exhibition (invitation only). The exhibition will be open to the public on Saturday 13th Nov from 3 - 5 pm. Admission is free and all are welcome to come and enjoy a look back at our most memorable events through the years.

Fundraiser to Support Suicide Charity:
Ballinteer lad, Conor McCarthy, whose brother Fergal was one of the 600 young men in Ireland who died as a result of suicide last year, is cycling 90k – the legendry “Sydney to Gong” race to raise awareness and funds for Reach.  Reach, run practical training courses geared for those suffering with Mental Health issues.  Fergal also received loving care, support and encouragements. The race is on 7th November 2010. Feast of Life
On Thur 25 Nov at 8pm in the Pro-Cathedral. The Feast of Life will be performed by Choirs of Brackenstown and Larkhill/Whitehall. The Feast of Life is a music account of stories from the Gospel of Luke. This will form one of the concluding events of the Year of Evangelisation. The evening will commence with music by Pro-Nuovo a music group of the Pro-Cathedral and followed by the Feast of Life performance.
