Thought for This Week
I will take time to rejoice and be glad in anticipation of the Saviour’s coming. I will observe the natural world around me and look for signs of hope and life. I will bring joy of the good news to others. I will remember those who do not live in hope.

Scripture for 4th Sunday of Advent 19th Dec
He had made up his mind to do this when the angel off the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because she has conceived what is in her by the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son and you must name him Jesus, because he is the one who is to save his people from their sins. Matt: 18-24

Can’t make it to Mass?
There is a FREE service available for Parishioners who cannot attend Mass because of the winter weather or confinement to home. www.churchservices.tv broadcasts masses, funerals, weddings and Advent Services from Irish Churches and Cathedrals to normal home computers. The services are FREE to view, for  information: comments@churchservices.tv. See our youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPrxbFrWOfc

Lusk Athletic Club
This year's Goal run will be held on St. Stephen's day, Sunday 26th at 12:45. All are welcome to run, jog, walk, or be pushed in a buggy. This is a fun way to get out and get some fresh air. You do not need to worry about sponsorship, just turn up on the day and if you can, make a small donation to this worthy charity. The start and finish will be outside Lusk National School. The course will be a lap of the ring road.

Crosscare Launch “Thanks to Teachers”: Parents and kids are being asked to buy a very special present for their teacher this Christmas - a helping hand to those most in need. Instead of buying gifts this year - we are asking you to make a donation to Crosscare (www.crosscare.ie) and download our specially designed Thanks for Teachers cards.
