This Mass was attended by The Archbishop of Dublin, the Most Reverend Edward Byrne, the Papal Nuncio, the Most Reverend Pascal Robinson, ofm., and Cardinals and Bishops from Europe, Africa, America, China and India. Important Notice to all Parishioners
Due to the high demand for intentions at all masses especially weekend masses it has been decided to have more than one intention for each mass. This is to accommodate families who would like to attend the mass.

Parish Newsletter:
The Parish Pastoral Council has decided to change the format of the Parish Newsletter, following a recent review. It has been agreed to separate the Sunday missalette from the Newsletter and to provide a full four page mass missalette with all the prayers, readings and responses. The expanded Newsletter will run to four A5 pages, allowing for more space for our parish schools, clubs and organisations to inform parishioners of their activities and events. We request all interested PROs to e-mail their weekly news to lusknewsletter@gmail.com.
Our newsletter is compiled each week, on a voluntary basis, by Yvonne Cadogan. Lusk Parish Pastoral Council is very grateful to Yvonne for all the wonderful work she does in ensuring that the newsletter is produced each week. With the forthcoming expansion of the newsletter it is important that the parish urgently finds a number of volunteers to support Yvonne's efforts. If you are in a position to volunteer, we need people with graphic design and typing skills. Please contact the parish office  at (01)8438421.

Parish Mission:
A mission is a week of prayer and reflection, listening to the word of God, and finding out what God is asking of us as individuals and parish at this time in our lives. It is an opportunity for a new beginning, to individually and collectively serve God in a more meaningful way. It also an opportunity to find out how to make time in our busy lives to follow the teaching of His Son Jesus, especially at a time when we are approaching Holy Week and are preparing to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ at Easter. The Parish Pastoral Council invites all parishioners to a gathering for Mission in the Parish church commencing on the 9th April. The Mission will be conducted by the Capuchin’s and will run for one week. Further details of the week’s events will be communicated at masses in the newsletter and be posted in the church. A parish prayer is currently being printed on cards to be handed out to all parishioners within the next week. This prayer will be said at all masses leading up to the mission, and we will be asking all parishioners to recite the prayer daily for the success of the mission in our parish. The Parish mission will begin on April 9th 2011. PPC.
