Corduff National School Fundraiser
Draiocht Drama Group are delighted to present “The Odd Couple” By Neil Simon on Wed 24th Nov 2010 in The Old Library Lusk At 8.00pm. Tickets available from Andrea Gallagher 0868644796. All Proceeds in aid of Corduff National School.

Lusk Community Unit
The fundraising committee at Lusk Community Unit (Friends of Lusk Community Unit) are having a Chistams Fair on November 28th  from 2 to 4.30 p.m.  There will be Bric a Brac, Cake stall, Flower stall, vegetable stall, bottle stall, lucky dip, crafts from our Day Care Clients, guess the value of the hamper and of course Santa.All are welcome. The Unit offers facilities to the older person in the Dublin North and North County area. Funds raised also go to making the lives of our residents a little brighter so we will appreciate your support.

Aware
Aware 10km Christmas Run will take place in The Phoenix Park on 11th Dec at 10am. Registration for the run is €20.00 and you can sign up on line at http://www.aware.ie/events/register/aware10k.php please note that online registration closes on 2nd Dec.

Lusk Athletic Club
Well done to Matt Reid who represented Lusk in the "Hell Up North" 10 mile run in the UK recently. This is a gruelling run across all terrains. Matt finished 160th out of a field of 1800 runners. Adam McNally represented Lusk at the Dublin cross-country Championships on Sunday last in Marley Park.
Well done to all those who travelled to the Dunleer cross country open race on Sunday 14th. 
A number of Lusk Athletics took part in the regional squad training session in Santry last Saturday. With 19 of the coaches, all the athletes received expert training in their chosen event.
Our U14 team are preparing hard for the National Championships in Derry at the end of the month.
We are also looking forward to the Indoor season and starting to train towards this.
If anyone is interested in getting involved in our "Fit4life" programme which will be starting after Christmas please let us know at 086 8519306. This is a programme for adults aged 20 to 90 who wish to stay fit throughout their life.

Feast of Life Thur 25th Nov 8.pm in the Pro-Cathedral.
The Feast of Life will be performed by the Choirs of Brackenstown and Larkhill/Whitehall. The Feast of Life is a music account of stories from the Gospel of Luke. This will form one of the concluding events of Year of Evangelisation. The evening will commence with music by Pro-Nuovo a music group of the Pro-Cathedral and followed by the Feast of Life performance.
